VEYANCE RUBBER INDIA LTD.The Engineered Products business was part of The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company since Goodyear's inception in 1898.
In August 2007, after 109 years of being owned by Goodyear, The Carlyle Group (world's 2- largest private equity firm) purchased the Engineered Products business from Goodyear and registered the new entity as Veyance Technologies Inc.
The name "Veyance" combines two critical components of our daily operations. All of our products conVEY materials, fluids or energy, and our ultimate goal is to optimize customer performANCE. In India, Veyance Technologies is registered as Veyance Rubber India Private Limited.
While our ownership has changed, our heritage, our spirit and our commitment to our customers remain unchanged.
As part of the sale to Carlyle, Veyance has also licensed the rights to use the "Goodyear" brand on our products and identity for many years to come.
